As part of our ongoing commitment to employee well-being and safety, we recently conducted a First Aid at Workplace & Emergency Response Training, designed to equip our team with essential, real-world emergency response skills.
The session combined both theory and hands-on practice, ensuring that every participant gained practical confidence in handling critical situations. Key areas covered during the training included CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), proper use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and effective response techniques for choking incidents involving both adults and children.
Beyond life-saving interventions, employees were also trained in basic wound management, including proper cleaning techniques and methods to control bleeding in emergency scenarios. The session further emphasised the importance of having a well-equipped first aid kit, with guidance aligned to the standards set by the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH).
More than just a training session, this initiative reflects our belief that preparedness is a shared responsibility. By empowering our team with the right knowledge and skills, we are building a safer, more responsive workplace, one where individuals are ready to step forward and make a difference when it matters most.
